Today was a rough day.

I got overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done around here. The house, I want it in order. Last minute errands I have to run for our camping trip.

This dude decided no was his favorite word today, he wasn’t going to listen, he defied everything I said to him, he didn’t nap. When he miss behaves it makes me feel like a horrible Mom for constantly telling him no and getting frustrated with him.
Then there was some other drama and my pregnancy hormones got the best of me, i got frustrated and I cried and cried and cried. I took a shower to try and calm down but I came out crying again.

Here’s to hoping that tomorrows a better day.

I’m a little overwhelmed

We still have to get this house in order, there is random piles of stuff around the house we still need to find a place for. No pictures are hung, my kitchen, the place I love the most. Is kinda a mess, I need to organize, clean and decorate.

This weekend Owen’s in a wedding, that we just found out about 2 weeks ago. Long story, but I don’t want to go, I don’t want him in it, I was never asked if he could be in it I was told. The person’s never met Owen or me, weird right? I was hoping we would get out of it, but nope. Now I have to get him a tux, (cause the one he wore in February doesn’t fit anymore) a special tie and shoes and he will use it all only once. I’m annoyed.

Next week were going camping, which I’m excited about. But I just realized last night that um hello I have to get up at the very least twice every night to use the restroom. Were going real camping, like in a tent not an RV. I can not get up in the middle of the night by myself to use the restroom, there’s bears out there and Ryan cant come with me, he has to stay with Owen! So I’m a little worried about this.

My dog is a but head, for the most part he’s lazy and just lays around all day. But every once in awhile he decides to escape. He’s not one of the cool dogs that get out but stay in the yard and come when you call them. Nope, I opened the front door this morning just enough to see something and he squeezed himself through and was gone. I was almost in tears, I’m almost 8 months pregnant, I have a two year old. I can not be running after a dog!

Oh ya and we have a baby coming in 8 weeks, the house needs to be in order, baby things need to be in the room.

But really besides the fact I’m a little overwhelmed, nothing but good things and blessing’s really.

Owen’s swim teacher wants him to skip ahead a class and go on to private lessons. That means no more parent and me class, he’s on his own with the teacher and that’s when they really learn how to swim. She said he’s to advanced and he would benefit much more from it. My kid is awesome!

I really love our new house and the neighborhood. Yesterday we went on a walk to the back bay, it’s beautiful, were blessed.

The other night when I was saying Owen’s bedtime prayer’s with him, he thanked Jesus for water. Really when’s the last time I thanked God for something as simple as water?? I love that Owen is always teaching me something and reminds me of the simple things.

Also I found a curl the other day! I didn’t ruin his hair, his little baby curls are still there and all is right in the world.

Happy Fathers Day to my husband.

Owen, you got a good one and I thank God for that. Baby E, you’re lucky kid and you’ll soon find that out.

Happy Fathers day to all the great Dad’s out there.

My little man
We got together on Monday for my good friend Sarah’s 30th birthday. It was just Sarah, my sisters and I, Melissa and Mari. Altogether 14 kids and me and Melissa are both pregnant and not everyone came so there would have been more kids.
Just 6 years ago there was no kids around and now we all have these amazing little people. I love it and I love that there’s still more kids to come.
Sarah took this picture of Owen, why does he look like he’s 5 years old!
He looks like such a big guy, which makes me a little sad cause I want him to stay my baby forever. But it’s also exciting seeing my baby grow into his new role as big brother.
You can grow up Owen, just please still give Mommy random nose kisses and grab me by my neck squeezing me saying “I love you Mommy” , ok

Owens lunch.

Dinosaur sandwiches is how we do it here, he always bites the heads off first.

I have to say again, I love our little place! All the natural light we get now is awesome, plus we have our own washer and dryer again. Having to use a laundry room kinda sucks, especially when you cloth diaper.

I’m also so happy that Owen really loves the place to. He keeps saying randomly, ” I like new house” and when we went to the old apartment last night to clean. He was seriously crying and screaming as soon as we pulled up, Nooooo go new house, go new house!

I had to explain to him that we just had to clean, then we could go home.

God has blessed us and I am grateful.

Good morning!

I feel like I’ve been non stop since Friday, cleaning and packing and unpacking and rearranging. Mixed in with birthday celebrations, mine and family and friends. Today is our first day with no real
plans.
Of course there is still two boxes left to unpack. Then I need to find a place for everything that’s unpacked already but still isn’t put away and then comes the decorating.

I really love our new house! It’s not huge but it’s cute and just right for us and it is bigger then our apartment was.

So now I’m going to relax a bit longer and then back to getting this house in order.

I love looking back at old photos.
Me and my long haired little O on a boat in the Newport Harbor.
Today is all about packing and cleaning. Owen woke up this morning, went straight to the pile of boxes in our living room and said ” Ok Mommy, lets do this!
I told him how about we get you some breakfast first, then you can help Mommy.
He’s such a god little helper, now I need to get off the computer so we can start packing.
